GENERAL INFORMATION
For the third-straight season, the 2016 Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Championship will be held at campus sites as top seeds will host each round of the tournament.

The 2016 A-Sun Championship will be held March 1-6, with quarterfinal games scheduled for Tuesday, March 1st, followed by semifinals on Thursday March 3rd and the Championship Final on Sunday, March 6th. 

The 2016 A-Sun Men's Basketball Championship marks the 37th year that the league will host the championship.
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT

The A-Sun Championship will be a six-day single-elimination tournament. Eight teams will compete in the championship and the participants will be determined by conference winning percentage. The winner of the tournament earns the A-Sun's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.

Ticket Prices 
First Round & Semifinal Games 
$10 General Admission | $5 Students with valid I.D. and Children 3-17

Championship Game 
$15 General Admission | $5 Students with valid I.D. and Children 3-17

Children 2 and under admitted free with a valid adult ticket throughout the event

Premium seating ticket prices may be higher than general admission and vary from venue-to-venue

Credentials
Media planning to cover the 2016 A-Sun Championship should contact A-Sun Director of Public Relations Craig Threlkeld (cthrelkeld@atlanticsun.org) to request credentials and parking passes. 

Information
A game program featuring rosters and information for each participating team will be available as well as statistical packets and individual team game notes prior to first round play. Updated statistics will be available daily for the remainder of the tournament. Post-game quotes, notes and final box scores will be distributed following each game. 

Work Environment
A media work area offering internet access and electricity will be provided by the host institution. Appropriately credentialed media and institutional personnel shall have access to the media work area.
