ATLANTA, Ga. - Lipscomb, Kennesaw State, North Florida and Liberty nabbed victories in ASUN Conference Men's Basketball action on Saturday. Lipscomb picked up its 11th straight win, as they defeated Jacksonville. Kennesaw State upset NJIT on a last second shot from Ugo Obineke.
North Florida gained a much needed win, as they snapped a six-game losing streak by beating North Alabama. Liberty earned its conference leading 21st win of the season, as they defeated FGCU in a closely contested game in Lynchburg.

Eli Pepper stole the show for Lipscomb as the Bisons registered their third-straight 20-win season for the first time in the program's Division I history. Pepper tallied a career-high with 27 points and added 14 rebounds to go along with six assists in the Bisons 86-77 win vs. Jacksonville. The victory improved Lipscomb's league record to 11-0 and 20-4 overall as Kenny Cooper (17), Garrison Mathews (16), Ahsan Asadullah (12) and Michael Buckland (10) added double-digit scoring efforts. JD Notae's 21 points were most on the night for Jacksonville with DeAnthony McCallum chipping in 18 and Tyreese Davis adding 17.
Noah Horchler was unstoppable for North Florida as the Ospreys snapped a six-game losing streak as the junior forward tallied 32 points on 15-of-23 shooting in UNF's 82-73 win at North Alabama. The victory secured a season sweep of the Lions for the Ospreys with two others registering at least 15 points; Ivan Gandia-Rosa (16) and Ezekiel Balogun (15). Gandia-Rosa added six rebounds and a game-high six assists. UNA's Kendarius Smith scored 24 on the night followed by 20 from Kendall Stafford and 13 from Christian Agnew.
Kennesaw State and NJIT battled for 40 minutes before Ugo Obineke hit the game-winning shot with 11 second remaining to give the Owls a 63-62 victory. Tyler Hooker (17) and Bobby Parker (14) shouldered the scoring load for the Owls. The win marked the second league victory for KSU, while NJIT dropped to 6-4 in the conference. Four players for NJIT finished in double figures led by 16 from San Antonio Brinson and 11 by Diandre Wilson. With the win KSU is now a ful game up on Stetson for the last spot in the ASUN Championship. NJIT returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to FGCU
Liberty won its 21st game of the season on Saturday night in a hard fought victory over FGCU. Scottie James the way for the Flames with a double-double of 12 points and 14 boards. Caleb Homesley, Lovell Cabbil and Georgia Pacheco-Ortiz all chipped in with double figure out puts of 13, 12 and 10 respectivley. Schadrac Casimir posted his third 30-point game of the conference season, as he poured in a game-high 33 points for FGCU. Dinero Mercurius did his best to make a comeback for FGCU, as he scored 16 points in the second half to cut Liberty's 14 point lead to five. It would not be enough, as James provided the dagger with a timely put back lay in with 40 seconds left to seal the deal for the Flames.
