ATLANTA, Ga. - Double header action was the theme of the day across ASUN Conference Baseball with both being split in league action. With the results of the day, seven of the nine teams in the ASUN wound up with victories including North Alabama who clinched its first series victory as a member of the ASUN.

Behind a complete game performance from Nick Marchese, North Florida took control of its series vs. NJIT, winning the second game of the weekend slate 5-2. The Ospreys received their second-straight dominant pitching performance, allowing the offense time to get going as the team erupted for five runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-1 lead vs. the Highlanders. Five different UNF hitters collected RBIs in the inning, grabbing the lead on a Jay Prather single to first base. The Ospreys can go for the weekend sweep tomorrow with first pitch set for 1 PM ET on ESPN+.
North Alabama clinched its first-ever series win in ASUN play behind a 9-2 offensive showcase vs. Jacksonville. The Lions got it started early, using a four-run second inning to jump ahead of the Dolphins for good at 5-1. The inning's highlight was a bunt single from Colt Chrestman that was followed by an error to push two runs across. Jacob Laws and Bryant Claunch combined to allow just nine hits while striking out eight JU hitters on the day. UNA now has its sights set on the first sweep of an ASUN team in program history with the series finale coming tomorrow afternoon at 12 PM ET.
FGCU and Kennesaw State split a double header to end their weekend series with the home Owls taking the second half. FGCU opened the day with a 6-4 comeback victory after allowing the Owls to score three runs to take a 4-3 lead in the sixth. FGCU responded with a three spot of its own in the eighth, allowing Hunter McGarry to come in for the save and win the series. Kennesaw State rebounded to win 4-0 in the second game, using a David Chabut home run as the starting point for the offense that was later fueled by a three-run double from Daniel Seres. Jake Rothwell and Jared Rine combined to allow just three hits over the nine innings of work and helping KSU break a five-game losing streak in ASUN action.
Liberty and Stetson split their double header as well with the defending ASUN champs and current first place Flames meeting for the first time as conference rivals. Stetson picked up the first win of the day, scoring in the top of the ninth to outlast the Flames in a 3-2 affair. Liberty responded from dropping just their third game at home all season with a 12-6 drubbing of the Hatters, driven by a pair of home runs from Cam Locklear and Logan Mathieu in the game. The two sides meet for the rubber match in the series tomorrow morning at 10 AM ET.
Lipscomb completed the three-game sweep of Texas Southern, scoring in double figures for the second time in the series to overwhelm TSU 11-1. Jumping out to a 4-0 lead after the third inning, the Bisons put up a five spot in the fifth to put the game out of reach. A seven inning finish, the third victory of the weekend improves Lipscomb's overall record to 18-17 while the team resumes ASUN action next weekend, visiting NJIT over Easter Weekend.
