Senior Jake Perry stepped up to the plate and hit a deep SAC Fly to right field to bring home the game-winning run. Robbie Knox entered from the bullpen and shut things down for the Bisons. He struck out three on his way to earning his fifth save of the season.
Stetson and Jacksonville weren't able to beat the rain on Sunday as the series finale was canceled due to continuing rain in the morning and thru the afternoon. Despite the rainout, Stetson became the first team to clinch a berth to the 2018 ASUN Baseball Championship, played May 23-26 at Harmon Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.
