LakePoint, Ga. - The top two teams in ASUN Conference Baseball extended their winning streaks on Sunday, while NJIT completed a rare four-game weekend sweep. North Florida and Lipscomb each clinched their series by winning rubber matches. Stetson and FGCU each boast 13 wins on the season now to sit atop the league standings.

The Eagles and Hatters extended their winning streaks with Sunday victories as FGCU defeated Evansville 7-3, while No. 18 Stetson took care of Richmond 5-1 to close out the weekend. Marc Coffers and Gage Morey ignited the Eagles offense going a combined 4-for-7 at the top of the lineup. Morey picked up two RBIs, while Coffers brought in one run and scored two more. Evan Lumbert moved to 3-0 on the year after pitching five shutout innings. Kenton Hering struck out four in two innings of relief to earn his second save of the year. No. 18 Stetson collected the weekend sweep of Richmond by closing out the Spiders today. Mitchell Senger was dominant on the mound, going seven innings and striking out 11. He only allowed one hit on the day, the lone Richmond hit of the entire game. Brooks Wilson collected his eighth save of the year with 1.1 shutout innings in relief. Andrew MacNeil and Baylen Sparks provided the offense Senger needed for today's win. MacNeil scored three runs, while Sparks went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in.
Lipscomb collected a big-time series win against Michigan as they won the rubber match 4-2 today. The Bisons, who had never beaten Michigan before yesterday, got some timely hits from Zeke Dodson and Jeffrey Crisan to erase an early 2-0 deficit. With the lead in hand, Kyle Kemp came on in relief and pitched three shutout innings to earn his fourth save on the season. Dodson went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Crisan continued his hot streak with another RBI double, his third of the series.
NJIT completed a four-game sweep of Maryland Eastern Shore with a 5-2 victory today. Jared Kasco pitched six shutout innings to pick up the victory on the mound. He struck out four batters and only allowed one hit in his outing. The Highlanders got on the board first with a three-run second inning. The inning was highlighted by Evan Pietronico's RBI double to left field. After UMES cut the lead to 3-2, Michael Anastasia picked up an RBI walk, before Justin Etts added an RBI single as insurance. North Florida earned a series victory over Fairfield after winning 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Harmon Stadium. Austin Drury earned the win on the mound after going seven strong innings, striking out four batters and only allowing one run. James Fitzpatrick finished the game going 3-for-4 at the plate, one of four Ospreys with multiple hits today. He had two RBIs, while Tanner Murphy, Dalton Board and Abraham Sequera collected the other runs batted in.
